Pitch your bold idea

Canada is facing some big challenges between now and our 150th birthday, in 2017.

Tell us your bold idea to confront these challenges and you could win a chance to present it to progressive Canadian thinkers and doers in Montreal this March 26-28.

We’re choosing the best idea in English and in French, flying the winners to Montreal, putting them up in a hotel, giving them a conference pass and asking them to make their pitch.

We are looking for a 2-minute YouTube video OR a 500-word essay in English or in French that:

• Identifies a problem facing Canadians
• Offers a solution to one of the big challenges facing Canada now and in 2017
• Is an idea that is convincing and focused, with specific ideas that will contribute to a national discussion
• Is non-partisan, respectful, and contains no foul language

Please note: submission may be edited. If your bold idea is posted on the website you are considered a finalist for the contest.

The contest closes March 8th. Our conference Co-Chairs will choose the winners.
