Yves-Thomas Dorval is president of the Conseil du patronat du Québec (CPQ), an organization which brings together several Quebec businesses and the majority of employers’ organizations in the province.

Mr. Dorval became president of the CPQ in 2009 after working for the British American Tobacco Group in Montreal and in London where he was head of communications and corporate social responsibility for Europe. Mr. Dorval has also held a variety of positions at Edelman Canada, Glaxowellcome Canada, Groupe Desjardins-Laurentienne and the government of Quebec.
